Declare His glory among the nations, His marvelous works among all the peoples!

Our mission

Hi! We are Luke and Amber Grover! We are excited that the Lord has called us to serve Him full time in Tanzania with our three children, Adalin (9), Jude (5) and Ezra (4).Tanzania

We are currently pre-deployed EFCA ReachGlobal staff, raising support by sharing our story and inviting others to partner with us to share the love of Jesus with those in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.

When we sought to understand how we could best be effective with the time, talents, and treasures we have been given, we began to discover that we could be best used to equip and encourage nationals to use their God-given abilities to reach those around them who are unreached, unchurched, or underserved.  ReachGlobal, the international mission of the Evangelical Church of America (EFCA), at its core is about developing, empowering, and releasing healthy leaders around the world who are committed to building the Church of Christ in their own countries.

We are excited to join the “Dar City team” to facilitate the multiplying of transformational gospel-based churches in the city of Dar es Salaam in order to give glory to God by the expanding of his kingdom. We will do this by:

  • Developing, empowering, and releasing indigenous leaders
  • Organizing the cooperation of national churches, and foreign mission organizations for the reaching of the city.
  • Identifying the unreached/unchurched peoples of the city.
  • Developing relationships with people from the unreached/unchurched peoples of the city

Luke, I’m curious, did you work with Steve and Carol Lyons in Dar? They were with EVC International? They have just returned to the states. I had the pleasure of visiting them in Dar last May. I’m a former member of Big Valley Grace in Modesto way back in the early 80’s when Rick Countryman was in my College choir at BVG. Your name is familiar to me. I was born and raised in Ripon. The past 22 years I’m been Music, Worship and Missions Pastor in Redding California at Redding Christian Fellowship. I’m just curious.
